Local Energy Committees (LECs)

The Jordan Institute provides strategic planning energy expertise to the Energy Committee Working Group and LECs. We will work with town energy committees looking to develop “green building” ordinances and incentives. Jordan has assisted the towns of Epping, Portsmouth, Derry and Barrington in developing energy efficiency and sustainable design ordinances.

We are scheduled to make presentations about GSE2 to the Town Energy Committees of Center Harbor in mid-October and Gilmanton toward the end of the month.  Representatives from the Select Boards, the School Boards, and others responsible for energy use in the Towns will be present.
