Building Evaluation & Recommendations

 

Once we have completed energy and financial modeling, we work with the building owner to craft and execute an implementation plan. This addresses:

  • Efficiency and alternative energy measures: Strategies that have the greatest impact for the investment. These will vary by building type and condition but may include measures such as improved insulation, more efficient mechanical systems, or new lighting. 

 

  • Service providers: Contractors and service providers whom we have confirmed are suitable for first-rate energy use reduction projects.
  • Financing: Depending on the client’s status, financing options may include such choices as bonding, lease/purchase agreements, contracts with energy service companies, utility incentives, and grants.
  • Sources of support: These may include school building aid, utility incentive programs, markets for renewable energy credits or carbon offsets, and special grant or other opportunities.
